Testing on iPad (when you don't have one)

Standard

Step 1. Copy and past this code
Mozilla/5.0 (iPad; U; CPU OS 3_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/531.21.10 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0.4 Mobile/7B334b Safari/531.21.10

Step 2. Activate your developer tool bar, and change your user agent to iPad.
If you don’t know how to do this I suggest you download Safari, which makes it easy to change. It also means that your main browser (Chrome, Firefox and IE) aren’t affected.

If you don’t know how to do this follow these steps or watch the video below.

Step 3. Visit http://www.iPadPeek.com
This is a simple and free site that ports your content into an iPad screen. Bear in mind that you’re not actually using an iPad so this is testing at it’s lightest, but it’s better than nothing.
